Cottonwood Canyons National Public Lands Day

September 23 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am MDT

National Public Lands Day (NLPD) is the nation's largest, single-day volunteer event for public lands, held annually on the fourth Saturday in September. Since 1979, National Public Lands Day has been bringing together hundreds of thousands of volunteers to help restore America's public lands.

Here in Utah you can support our local public lands on Saturday, September 23rd at Solitude Mountain Resort. The Central Wasatch Commission has partnered with Cottonwoods Canyons Foundation for the annual National Public Lands Day clean-up event!

We will be pulling weeds around the lower Solitude area at 8:30 a.m.  Be sure to register for this event and join us at Solitude's Moonbeam Entry 1 Parking Lot.

This is a great opportunity to get outdoors engaging in a great community service project in some of Utah's most scenic public lands!
