Get Involved

Military-connected families need our support! We've included some ways you can get involved and connected with your local military community. You can be an important part of raising awareness and helping to welcome military and Veteran families during Welcome Week and all year long.

Print a Welcome Sign

Welcome military- and Veteran-connected families to a location you love! Print out this sign, fill in the blank, take a photo or shoot a short video, and share on social media with #bluestarwelcomeweek.

Become a Volunteer

You can help bridge the gap between military and civilian communities. There are plenty of opportunities that can fit your schedule. We'd love to connect you with more ways you can become a supporter.

Discover Ways to Welcome

We have a handy checklist full of simple things you can do to make military families feel welcome. It includes local ideas for families you've encountered and online suggestions if you aren't yet connected to a family in your area.

Wear Your Support

The red, white, and blue colors represent military and Veteran families of all service branches, and the yellow ribbon represents a commitment to welcome military and Veteran families to their new neighborhoods.

Hire Military Spouses

Military spouses are adaptable, accustomed to dealing with stress and pressure, and they are committed to service beyond self. If you would like to gain a valuable team member, hire a military spouse.

Become a Cause Partner

Twenty-one million service members and Veterans with over $1 trillion in spending power buy from brands that support them. We work with our partners to design customized campaigns that align with business objectives and our mission.
