Canoe Lake Michigan & Family Fun Day with Wilderness Inquiry’s Canoemobile…

Join Blue Star Families and Wilderness Inquiry for an afternoon of canoeing Lake Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 21^st, which the first group will begin at 11 AM. This event is located at Waukegan Harbor but could change.

 

Each Canoe is 24-feet long, can hold 10 people, and is guided by a Wilderness Inquiry Boat Captain. There will be a crew of trained outdoor educators who will provide training and support. No experience is necessary!

 

People of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities are welcome to participate. Kids over the weight of 30 lbs. are encouraged to participate.Personal flotation devices (PFD) are required and will be provided.

 

Lunch and additional activities will be provided.

 

There is limited number of space available, so please register by Wednesday, Sept. 13th, at 11:59 PM CT, for a chance to attend. If after 9/11, email Ben ([email protected]) directly.

 

BSWW is to honor and welcome military and veteran families (including Guard and Reserve) who have recently moved to our community, especially those who've lived here for less than one year. 

 

*Military/veteran families who’ve been here for longer than 1 year can still sign up! We’re just going to prioritize new families due to limited spots.
