Join Blue Star Families and Wilderness Inquiry for an exciting afternoon of canoeing, fishing and land-based activities at Canarsie Pier Park in Brooklyn, NY, on Sunday, September 29th at 1:00 PM!
Each 24-foot canoe holds up to 10 people and is guided by a Wilderness Inquiry Boat Captain. A team of trained outdoor educators will be there to provide training and support, so no prior experience is necessary! Fishing gear will also be provided for the event.
This event welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Kids weighing over 30 lbs. are encouraged to participate. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are required and will be provided.
In addition to canoeing and fishing, we will offer engaging land-based activities.
